I constantly spend my nights scrolling on Pinterest searching for new trends,
room decor ideas and makeup looks to try. I mean, isn"t Pinterest the coolest site EVER?
La semana pasada ví este DIY (Hazlo Tu Misma) de unas jarritas doradas para guardar cosas
hechas por Reserved For Sheila, un blog y tienda de Etsy, y me dije a mi misma:
"DAMN MIJA, yo necesito eso y creo que puedo hacerlo!"

The past week I saw this super cute DIY Gold Storage Jars made by Reserved For Sheila
a Blog/ Etsy Shop. And I was like
"DAMN GIRL, I need that and I think I can make it!"

Así que fui a la tienda bien temprano para comprar pintura dorada en spray,
busque los animalitos en mi casa porque sabia que tenían que haber rodando por ahí,
fue una búsqueda difícil pero exitosa, encontré un lobo y un burro... Si, un burro!

So I went to the craft store first thing in the morning to get some gold spray paint,
I looked in my house for the animals cause I knew I had some lying around,
It was a hard search but I found a wolf and a donkey... yup, a Donkey...
No tenía jarras fabulosas ni Mason Jars, así que recicle unas jarras de salsa de Tostitos
y si me preguntan; funcionan a la perfección y son basicamente GRATIS!

I didn"t have mason jars or any type of fancy jars, so I repurposed these Tostitos Sauce Jars
and if you ask me they work amazing and its basically free!
La marca de Spray que me recomendaron fue la Harris y funcionó a la perfeccion
ya que esta hecha para usarse sobre metales y aluminio.

The brand of Gold Spray paint they recommend me was Harris
and it worked perfectly since its meant to be for metal and aluminum things.
Los pasos son bien fáciles, pegué los animales a las tapas con silicon caliente,
aunque recomiendo Coqui, Super Cola o E6000 para mayor seguridad.
Pinté dos capas de spray, dejandolas airear por 10 minutos entre cada una, y luego las deje secar.

The steps are pretty self explanatory, I glued the animals into the jar lids with hot glue,
even though I recommend using super glue or E6000 just to be secure.
I spray painted them two coats, waiting 10 minutes between them, and let them dry.
Despues de hacer estas dos jarras, aun me quedaba toda una lata de spray,
Así que me dije "Sabes que, yo necesito mas dorado en mi vida".
Fui a la tienda nuevamente (CCC) y compré este porta sobres y cartas de 3 secciones.
Creativa la niña! Esta es la manera perfecta de organizar mis paletas que mas uso
y tambien una manera de mostrarlas y que se vean super cute!

After making these two jars, I had an entire can of the spray paint,
So I said "You know what, I need me some GOLD!"
Went to the craft store again (CCC) and bought this envelopes/ letters holder with 3 sections
Can we talk about creativity here? This is the perfect way to storage my most used palettes
and put them on display in a cute way. Um YAS!
Así que la pinte, y este es el resultado final!
So I spray painted it as well and this is the final look:
No había terminado allí, tenía que pintar esta cubetita tambien! No me gustaba
para nada el color porque era naranja, así que ahora es la cubetita mas bella
que habrán visto!

It wasn"t over so I had to paint this little bucket too, I didn"t like the color
cause it was orange, and now its the most beautiful bucket you"ll ever see!
Los acentos dorados son muy chic y lindos no?
