Inviertid sólo en aquellas cosas que realmente os apasionen, es decir, aquellas que conservaréis durante mucho mucho tiempo; e intentad no gastar demasiado en aquellas otras cosas que no os vayáis a quedar mucho tiempo.
Elegid piezas de mobiliario especiales que podáis usar en cualquier hogar actual o futuro, incluso aunque vayan a tener usos distintos en cada uno de ellos.
Coleccionad cosas que representen vuestra personalidad y vuestra historia; comprad objetos diferentes y especiales en mercados, galerías de arte o tiendas curiosas que visitéis en vuestras propias ciudades o en aquellas tiendas que os encontréis durante vuestros viajes.
Creo que es una suerte si os gustan los proyectos DIY, no hay duda de que aportan muchísima personalidad a un hogar! Pero también hay que saber cuando dejar que los profesionales hagan su trabajo, para algunas cosas sin duda son necesarios.
No tengáis miedo de los colores, pueden ser la diferencia entre un apartamento aburrido y triste y uno alegre y lleno de vida. Podéis añadir color con textiles, pintando o empapelando las paredes y con obras de arte, entre muchas otras cosas.

I think it’s great if you like DIY projects, there’s no doubt that they bring a lot of personality to a home! But you also must know when to let professionals do their work, for some things they’re certainly needed.
Don’t be afraid of colors, they can make the difference between a boring and sad apartment and a bright and full of life one. You can add color with textiles, painted or papered walls and pieces of art, among many other things.
