New York City IV: Statue of Liberty

Today, I want to talk you about our fourth day in New York City.

It was a sunny day, so we went to Battery Park to take "The Statue Cruise", to meet the iron lady...

You don´t have to know nothing special to take the cruise, it will be enough if you go to "Battery Park", where you can see the cruises, just be careful with the schedule of the cruises...

As many of you already know, I never get tired of Manhattan Skyline, so we are going to see it again, sorry!

Here we goooo!!

Allá vamos!!

And here it is! The amazing skyline of Manhattan, I just love it!

You can see the skyline at night HERE

Y aquí está! El increible Skyline de Manhatan, me encanta!

Podréis verlo por  la noche AQUI.

And suddenly, we turned our head and we saw "The Liberty Lady", so amazing!

We couldn´t stop to think that many people saw her when they arrived to NY to find a better life..

We bought our tickets with the audio guide,so we learnt a lot about her:

She was built in France and she sailed the Atlantic Ocean until she arrived at NYC port.

Next, we went to Ellis Island...

This little Island use to be a customs of NY, there you can see some of the names of some people who crossed the ocean to find a better life in America.

It was so fun to look for our friends and families names!

Although this little island don´t have too much inside it, the visit worth for the amazing view!

If you want to know more about our trip just go HERE and HERE

Room makeovers I’d been thinking about launching a new section in the blog: a category to show room makeovers rather than pieces of furniture makeovers, I mean, show the changes made to a room that will make a living space both more practical and beautiful.  Now is the time!
