I promised you that we were going to tell you almost everything of our beautiful trip, so let´s to continue with our second day in NYC. You can see what we did on our first day HERE.
Como muchos de vosotros ya sabéis, nuestro destino en el viaje de novios fue Nueva York.
Os prometí que os iba a contar casi todo de nuestro viaje, por lo que vamos a continuar con nuestro segundo día en NYC. Podéis ver que hicimos el primer día AQUI.
In our second day in NYC, we were exited about the finacial district, we couldn´t wait so we took a taxi that took us to the district.
The first that we saw was this incredible building that has been built in place of the "Twin towers", so we realized that the "Ground Zero" was near, so went into the area.
En nuestro segundo día en NYC, estábamos entusiasmados con conocer el distrito financiero, por lo que no pudimos esperar y cogimos un taxi que nos llevó al distrito en cuestión.
Depending of your empathy levels, you will feel different emotions, for me it was a kind of frightening, because when I saw these huges pools, in place of the towers, I realized what happened there, was horrible.
Dependiendo de vuestro grado de empatía sentiréis diferentes emociones el día que os encontréis allí, para mi fue un poco escalofriante, porque cuando vi esas dos enormes piscinas, en el lugar donde se alzaban las torres, me dí cuenta de que lo sucedido allí tuvo que ser horrible.
After that, we decided go to an outlet called " Century Twenty One" that is next to "ground zero" and my husband found some bargains, so he bought a lot of t-shirts and some socks.
After that, I needed a rest, so we went to a deli to lunch, and this was my first time with the "food by weight".
I don´t know if it is the correct expression, in Spain we use it a lot.
In NYC is typical to see worker that go into a deli and buy food by weight, it means that literally they weight the food that you pick up and you pay depending how much you get.
In the afternoon we continued walking when we saw this marvellous fire station, it reminded me to the ghostbusters one!
Después de eso, decidimos ir a un outlet llamado "Century Twenty One" que está al lado de la "Zona Cero" y mi marido encontró algunas ofertas a las que no se pudo resistir, por lo que acabó comprando unos polos y algunos calcetines.
Después de esto, yo necesitaba un descanso y fuimos a un Deli a comer, y esta fue mi primera experiencia con la comida a peso!
En NYC es muy típico ver a los oficinistas entrar en un deli a comprar comida a peso, esto significa que ellos cogen unos tupers y los llenan con lo que van a comer, y pagan exactamente por lo que se llevan, un poco extraño, lo sé!
Por la tarde, continuamos caminando, cuando vimos esta maravillosa estación de bomberos, me recordó a la que salía en los cazafantasmas!
To finish our walk, we stopped in the "Converse Store" of Soho, we were lost and we ask to two kinds New Yorkers,and they google it for us!
We liked the store so much, you can customize your converse in many ways!
Our second day, is not finished, we had an activity for the night, yeah!

Para terminar nuestro paseo, paramos en la tienda de Converse del Soho, estabamos perdidos y preguntamos a dos ambles Neoyorkinos y ellos la buscaron en google para nosotros!
Nos gustó mucho la tienda porque puedes customizar tus converse de muchísimas formas!
Nuestro segundo día en la ciudad que nunca duerme, aun no habia terminado, teníamos preparada una actividad para la noche, siii!!
